Lv: Gaisma Rīgas debesīs bija spoža, it īpaši no modernas debesskrāpja augšas.
En: The light in the Rīga sky was bright, especially from the top of a modern skyscraper.
Lv: Logi visapkārt, sniega pārslas dejoja ārpusē.
En: Windows all around, snowflakes danced outside.
Lv: Šī bija vieta, kur Jānis un Inese tiksies pēc gada.
En: This was the place where Jānis and Inese would meet after a year.
Lv: Jānis skatījās uz pilsētu, lai nepadotos nervozitātei.
En: Jānis looked at the city to not succumb to nerves.
