Af: Die herfsbries waai saggies deur die bome in die Kirstenbosch Nasionale Botaniese Tuin.
En: The autumn breeze blows gently through the trees in the Kirstenbosch Nasionale Botaniese Tuin.
Af: Die blare is 'n spektrum van warm kleure.
En: The leaves are a spectrum of warm colors.
Af: Pieter kyk na die toneel voor hom.
En: Pieter looks at the scene before him.
Af: Die sketsboek in sy hande is amper leeg, behalwe vir die paar lyne wat hy al neergelê het.
En: The sketchbook in his hands is almost empty, except for the few lines he has already laid down.
Af: Hy het hierdie dag lank beplan.
En: He has planned this day for a long time.
Af: Hy wou die perfekte herfsbeeld vasvang voordat sy gesondheid heeltemal in 'n krisis ontaard.
