Ru: В сердце суровой московской зимы, где пронизывающий ветер и холод пробирает до костей, жил Алексей.
En: In the heart of the harsh moskovskoy winter, where the piercing wind and cold chills to the bone, lived Aleksey.
Ru: Он был учителем и верил в силу гражданского долга.
En: He was a teacher and believed in the power of civic duty.
Ru: Особенно сейчас, когда вся страна ожидала важных выборов.
En: Especially now, when the entire country was anticipating important elections.
Ru: Николай, сосед Алексея, заехал утром.
En: Nikolai, sosed of Aleksey, dropped by in the morning.
Ru: "Не выйдешь сегодня," — сказал он, качая головой.
En: "You won't go out today," he said, shaking his head.
Ru: "Снег идёт непрерывно, автобусы стоят.
En: "The snow is continuous, buses are at a standstill."
Ru: ""Я должен," — ответил Алексей, стоя у окна и смотря на белую вьюгу.
En: "I must," replied Aleksey, standing by the window and watching the white blizzard.
Ru: "Каждый голос важен.
En: "Every vote is important."
Ru: "За окном разыгрался настоящий снежный хаос, но Алексей был полон решимости.
En: Outside, a true snow chaos was playing out, but Aleksey was full of determination.
Ru: Он натянул на себя теплую одежду, плотно закрыл дверь и сказал жене, Ирине: "Буду осторожен.
En: He pulled on his warm clothes, tightly closed the door, and told his wife, Irina: "I will be careful."
Ru: " Она беспокойно посмотрела в его глаза и кивнула.
En: She looked into his eyes anxiously and nodded.
Ru: Выходя на улицу, Алексей ощутил, как порывы ветра и снега бросаются на него, будто пытаясь остановить.
En: Stepping onto the street, Aleksey felt the gusts of wind and snow hitting him, as if trying to stop him.

En: At the entrance, Aleksey saw Nikolai.

En: He raised his eyebrows in surprise.
Ru: "Ты всё-таки пришел!
En: "You actually came!"
Ru: ""Да," — улыбнулся Алексей, пытаясь согреться.
En: "Yes," Aleksey smiled, trying to warm up.

En: "It's important."
Ru: "Зайдя внутрь, Алексей почувствовал, как тепло помещения окутало его, а сознание наполнилось удовлетворением.
