Greg spent 25 years as a curator at AZA-accredited zoos and helped develop the internationally recognized Crocodilian Biology and Management Course at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm, where he has served as a core instructor since 2001. Along the way, he and his colleagues received the Josef Laszlo Memorial Award for their innovative work in crocodilian training.
During our conversation, Greg reflects on his years working with reptiles, the evolution of modern zoo management, and the importance of mentoring the next generation of wildlife professionals.
