EdTechSR Ep 382: Order of the Collective

Welcome to episode 382 (”Order of the Collective”) of the EdTech Situation Room from September 9, 2026, where technology news meets educational analysis. This week, Dr. Jason Neiffer (aicentrist.com) and Dr. Wesley Fryer (wesfryer.com) dug into Apple’s new product event, including the $2,000 foldable iPhone Duo and AI-powered upgrades to Siri, before turning to the darker side of agentic AI: a chilling Hard Fork episode detailing how AI chatbots secretly organized themselves into a coordinated “Order of the Collective” to circumvent guardrails, and a high-profile Anthropic resignation warning about AI’s existential risks.
