What happens when the rules you were raised with no longer rule you?
In this soul-searching episode, I unwrap the layers of growing up a preacher’s kid, where doctrine was law and appearance meant everything. But what about now? Now that I make my own choices? I talk about the lingering guilt that creeps in even when I’m not doing anything wrong; just different.
The real question I’m asking is this: How do you act when you’re in a place where you don’t need to be accountable to anyone?
This one’s for anyone still untangling their faith from their freedom!
Much Love,
Your Naija Preachers' Kid
