In Times of Crisis, Pray: ๐ Job, God Remembers your Tears ๐ข๐ข
Daily Manna with Pastor and Mrs Chifamba
About
Psalm 142:4-5
I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul. 5I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.
HUMAN HELPERS WILL FAIL YOU AND NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR TEARS BUT GOD CARES FOR YOU AS THE HYMN SAYS HE IS THE HELPER OF THE HELPLESS
Abide with me; fast falls the eventide;
The darkness deepens; Lord with me abide!
When other helpers fail and comforts flee,
Help of the helpless, O abide with me.
JOB WAS FORSAKEN AND DERIDED BY FRIENDS AND WIFEโผ๏ธBUT GOD DID NOT FORGET HIS TEARS
Job 16:20
My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto God.
Job 2:8-10
So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. 8And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes. 9ยถThen said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. 10But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
Job 3:24-25
For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters. 25For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
Job 19:18-19
Yea, young children despised me; I arose, and they spake against me. 19All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me.
Job 23:8-10
Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: 9On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him: 10But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
James 5:10-11
Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. 11Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
THE MERCIFUL GOD RESTORED JOBโS FORTUNES AND WIPED AWAY HIS TEARS
Job 42:10-13
And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. 11Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold. 12So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. 13He had also seven sons and three daughters.
WE LOOK FORWARD FOR THE FINAL WIPING AWAY OF TEARS WHEN JESUS COMES AGAIN
Revelation 21:4-5
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
