HOW MUCH TIME DO I SPENT ON FILMS, FOOTBALL, VIDEO GAMES, WORLDLY MUSIC etc. VERSUS THE TIME I SPENT ON THE THINGS OF GOD⁉️ THINGS THAT CONSUME MOST OF OUR TIME IN LIFE ARE THE THINGS WE LOVE MOST.
2 Timothy 3:1-4
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God
1 Timothy 5:6
But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.
1 John 2:15-17
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Hebrews 11:23-24

THE CHURCH TO DAY IS MIXING WORLDLY PLEASURES AND MUSIC WITH WORSHIP LIKE ISRAEL OF OLD
1 Corinthians 10:6-7
“Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”
1 Corinthians 10:21-22
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. 22Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
The heavenly principles that distinguish those who are one with Christ from those who are one with the world have become almost indistinguishable. The professed followers of Christ are no longer a separate and peculiar people. The line of demarcation is indistinct. The people are subordinating themselves to the world, to its practices, its customs, its selfishness. – {Christ Object Lessons p. 315.3}
LOVE OF PLEASURE CANNOT COEXIST WITH THE LOVE OF GOD‼️LOVE OF PLEASURE EXTINGUISHES THE LOVE OF GOD.
James 4:4 ESV
“You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”
2 Corinthians 6:17-18
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul
