By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba

Psalm 84:12

O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusts in you.

Psalm 34:8

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.

Psalm 2:11-12

Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Psalm 62:7-8

In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. 8Trust in him at all times; you people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.

Isaiah 26:3-4

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you. 4Trust you in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength

Proverbs 3:5-7

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding. 6In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. 7Be not wise in your own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

THE ARM OF FLESH WILL FAIL‼️PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD.

Psalm 41:9

Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.

Psalm 55:12-14

For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him: 13But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance. 14We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.

Jeremiah 12:6 GNT

β€œEven your relatives, members of your own family, have betrayed you; they join in the attacks against you. Do not trust them, even though they speak friendly words.”

Psalm 146:3-6

Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. 4His breath goes forth, he returns to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. 5Happy is he that has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: 6Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keeps truth for ever

We are not to trust in princes, or to set men in the place of God. We are to remember that human beings are fallible and erring, and that He who has all power is our strong tower of defense. In every emergency we are to feel that the battle is His. His resources are limitless, and apparent impossibilities will make the victory all the greater. – {Conflict and Courage p. 217.5}

Jeremiah 17:5-8

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. 6For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. 7Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. 8For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Romans 10:11-13

For the scripture said, Whoever believes on him shall not be ashamed. 12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich to all that call on him. 13For whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
