About

"It’s my first film that will be considered science fiction that I do not consider to be science fiction..." - Steven Spielberg

On this episode, Abigail is joined by her seminary friends (brother, Caleb DeJarnatt & her best friend and Counteract USA Cell Program Director, Lydia Paris) to break down Steven Spielberg's new film "Disclosure Day," and why a movie like this deserves more than just a passive watch (but we don't recommend you watch it).

They talk through the aliens-as-demons and witchcraft parallels in the film, the cultural push to make empathy the supreme value of the universe, and what it means that humans alone are made in the image of God.

This isn't really a movie review. It's a reminder that the stories our culture keeps telling shape what we believe is normal, whether we're paying attention or not. Discernment isn't optional for Christians. It's how we stay grounded while the world keeps asking questions we've had answers to the whole time.

"Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." - 1 Peter 5:8
