On this weeks C&SI we take a spin through the news items over the last while to bring you some of the detail of the Beatification of Blessed Fulton Sheen in the USA on September 24th. We look at the visit of Pope Leo XIV to France including some of the touching moments and the key points from his addresses and homilies including the challenge to France, to the French Church and to Europe more generally. And we have a brief update on the Irish Synodal Pathway ahead of the Synodal Assembly in Co Meath on 17th October.
In part one we have our regular odds and ends including the Pope's prayer intention for October as well as the saints of the coming week.
And of course in part three we have some brief reflections this week on the Sunday gospel and the parable of the King's feast and what it says to us in our world today.
