Նար-Դոսը հայ դասական գրականության ամենանշանավոր հոգեբան-ռեալիստներից է։ Նա իր ստեղծագործություններում հիմնականում պատկերել է քաղաքային կյանքը, մանր բուրժուազիայի և մտավորականության հոգեբանական ներաշխարհը։
