Greg DeMarco and Andrew Balaz rank the AEW All Out card by pure watchability, then dive into WWE, NXT, MLW, JCW, TNA and more.
Greg DeMarco and Andrew Balaz are back with another Axe Bomber Podcast, and this week they turn the entire AEW All Out card into a simple question: which matches do they actually want to watch the most?
Instead of ranking the lineup by championship importance, star power, or where each match may fall on the show, Greg and Andrew sort all 10 announced bouts strictly by personal watchability. That immediately creates some interesting arguments, especially once Kazuchika Okada vs. Tommaso Ciampa rises to the top of the list.
On paper, Okada and Ciampa offers the kind of matchup that feels fresh enough to create real curiosity. Greg and Andrew dig into why that pairing stands out, while also debating the rest of the card and how much certain stipulations, personalities, and expectations change the way a match looks before the bell even rings.
The three-way AEW World Tag Team Championship ladder match featuring Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, FTR, and the Young Bucks gets plenty of attention as well. With that much history, experience, and chaos packed into one match, there is plenty to like, but also plenty to debate when it comes to how high it should actually rank.
Elsewhere on the card, PAC vs. Andrade El Idolo feels like the kind of match that could quietly become one of the strongest bouts of the night. Greg and Andrew also give serious consideration to Thekla vs. Willow Nightingale, while the Chicago Street Fight stipulation gives the women’s tag team title match a noticeable boost in appeal.
Then there is Will Ospreay vs. Jon Moxley. The names alone suggest a major attraction, but Axe Bomber is not about automatically putting the biggest names at the top. Greg and Andrew talk through whether the matchup itself creates enough excitement to justify that placement, and how much recent presentation and expectations affect what fans actually want to see.
What starts as a random ranking game quickly turns into a full preview of All Out, but the conversation does not stay there for long.
The episode branches into Adam Cole’s future, ongoing AEW production concerns, and MLW’s move to Tubi, along with the usual weekly look at other corners of the wrestling world. NXT gets attention through names like Romeo Moreno and Grayson Waller, while JCW comes up in the wake of Vince Russo’s exit.
There is also time for some deeper wrestling history, including a discussion about the 1983 version of The Shield, plus the kind of old-school comparisons and side conversations that have quickly become part of the show’s personality.
That is becoming the identity of Axe Bomber. The format may start with one central topic, but the best parts often come from where the conversation goes next. Greg and Andrew are not trying to hit every promotion or manufacture equal time for every story. If something is interesting, strange, frustrating, or worth arguing about, it is fair game.
And yes, somewhere in all of that, they also explain why there is no bro in this.
