The Braves Need More Offense & a Star or Two to STEP UP Tonight | Atlanta Braves Podcast
Braves Today
Lindsay Crosby breaks down Atlanta’s heartbreaking Game 2 loss and the legacy-level stakes of a winner-take-all Game 3 at Truist Park against Philadelphia. He argues the offense—not just Dylan Lee and Walt Weiss’s bullpen decision—failed to capitalize on repeated scoring chances, stranding runners and hitting into key double plays. Crosby previews likely Game 3 pitching plans, including an opener (Ray Kerr or Brent Suter) ahead of Grant Holmes, explains why a Chris Sale relief appearance is unlikely, and outlines concerns about Holmes versus Phillies stars like Schwarber and Harper. He notes FanDuel has Philadelphia as a slight favorite and discusses potential broader consequences if Atlanta is eliminated again by the Phillies.
