The Anti-Racist Educator - How to Be an Anti-Racist

"Black" Woman Speaks Arabic

About
Obstacles to establishing social cohesion, and empathy amongst the various communities within a society are numerous. Some may only have in view the differences that exist between communities, and render it something to fear rather than a beauty to embrace.

''If you are not like me, then you are the other, and so I shy away in an attempt to erase you from my world of familiarity, or I fight it in the an attempt to protect the safety box that I live in, in the guise of hatred, animosity, micro-aggressions, passive aggressiveness, overt and covert racism.''

In this episode of the new season, we'll be navigating through one of the things that I believe can be a glue that bears the fruit of connecting communities together, but may require facing some hard truths...racism.
How would you define racism?...and is it enough to say ''I'm a nice person, I'm not racist?'', ''I'm a spiritual person, I'm not racist?'' or I'm religious, I'm not racist?''
