About this episode

"Black" Woman Speaks Arabic initially started as bringing to light "black" women speaking Arabic as their native tongue, and then arose to a main theme of bridging between the aforementioned and the ''black'' woman experience. Thus breaking the stereotypes & stigmas around ''Black'' women, ''Black'' Muslim Women & ''Black'' native Arabic speaking women. Bringing to the surface the ethnic diversity of the ''Black'' woman, challenges she may face & override, & bringing to the surface the marginalised Arabic dialects that you hardly hear of.
