''I Don't See Colour!'' - A Compliment or a an Offense?

"Black" Woman Speaks Arabic

About
Has anyone ever told you that, ''I don't see colour'', or something along the lines? How did it make you feel?Whilst navigating through how I felt about such a statement , I realised that it's a question that many women of the African diaspora experience, and I was curious to find out as to how other women felt about it whilst also resolving my own position on it.
Through connecting with sisters of the African diaspora and through listening to their responses I found in it a healing.
Whether you identify as ''black'' or ''mixed-race'', I hope that you'll also find a healing and a means of inspiration and motivation through your challenges as author & CEO of Conscious Dreams Publishing, and actress/ creative Zibiah Zoe share their insights on the above statement and comment on a few responses that I got from the women I'd reached out to.

This has also opened a door of opportunity to understand some of my sister's challenges. As we come from different ethnic backgrounds. Whilst we share a Guyanese father, I alone am a daughter to my late mum who was of Jamaican & Antiguan heritage.
