Courage for Such a Time as This: Esther’s Boldness

In this episode of Bible Bytes, I reflect on Esther 4:13–16 and the moment when courage meets opportunity. We explore how Esther, facing fear and life‑threatening risk, chose faith over comfort with the resolve, “If I perish, I perish.” I walk through the historical backdrop of the Persian court, the gravity of Mordecai’s challenge, and the theological thread of God’s providence working through human responsibility. We also consider Esther’s call to a three‑day fast as a model of spiritual preparation that pairs bold action with dependence on God’s guidance.
