Every day, we lower a bucket into the well of our life. That well is filled by the thoughts we repeat, the people we surround ourselves with, the content we consume, the food and drinks we choose, and the habits we practice when nobody is watching.

When you raise the bucket, you can only drink what was already in the well.

You cannot lower your bucket into a well filled with negativity, excuses, anger, poor nutrition, and unhealthy habits—and expect to pull out peace, discipline, strength, and a healthier life. If you want a different result, you must begin by changing what you allow to flow into your well.

For professional drivers, this is especially important. Life on the road can become repetitive. The same routes, the same truck stops, the same conversations, and the same habits can quietly become your normal. But normal does not always mean healthy. You may not need a new truck, a new route, or a new opportunity. You may simply need to clean out the well.

In this episode of Beyond the Truck, we discuss the importance of protecting your inputs, taking ownership of your environment, and making better daily choices physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Your future will be shaped by what you continue to place into your well today.
