Title: Living Learning: An Invitation to Reimagine Childhood

Being from a generation who grew up without the internet, I was privileged to experience a childhood grounded in creativity. Every day, I used my imagination freely, following my intuition and passions. My brother and I played for hours outside — connected to nature, to each other, and to the children in our neighbourhood. Together, we became self-directed learners. We learned how to collaborate, navigate conflict, solve problems, and most importantly, we learned how to be present.

There was no time for anxiety or depression — we were too busy living.

Fast forward to today — an era where even small children have access to, and in many cases, are becoming addicted to what I call “weapons of mass distraction.” Endlessly scrolling and swiping through hypnotic loops of sound and screen, their inner world is being rewired and reprogrammed — not by wisdom or wonder, but by algorithms.

It’s time to pause and reflect.

Are we nurturing creators or consumers?
Are our environments cultivating curiosity, or merely feeding consumption?
Are we truly giving our children — and ourselves — the opportunity to live learning?

Learning doesn’t require four walls, a teacher, or a test.
Life itself is the classroom. Every moment is a lesson.
Everyone we meet is a potential mentor, guide, or mirror.

So I invite you to reflect:
How are we exploring the world?
How are we playing and expressing ourselves?
What experiences are expanding our awareness?

Some days, I yearn for the simplicity of presence — the quiet joy of a life lived without constant digital intrusion. That’s why we gather here on the All Learning Reimagined podcast — because I’ve chosen to shift my focus from obstacles to opportunities. To seek out the doers, the dreamers, the everyday legends who are showing us heart-centered, practical approaches to learning and living.

We are the system we choose to participate in.
Each of us holds the power — and the responsibility — to co-create the world we wish to live in.

So go outside.
Start an adventure.
Notice the lens through which you see the world.
And let’s rediscover what it means to live learning.
