Genesis 3:14-19 The Oldest Prophecy About Jesus: What I Missed For Years In Genesis 3 | Ep. 8

Today we're reading Genesis 3:14-19 where Adam and Eve receive the natural consequences for sin along with the serpent. When Adam and Eve eat the forbidden fruit, they become naked and ashamed. Then, God shows up, to gives the appropriate consequences to Adam, Eve and the serpent. And, if you look closely, you’ll notice some weird details including several similarities in their consequences. Most importantly, this becomes the first messianic gospel prophecy. So, why is the snake sentenced to eating dust if snakes already do that? Why is the ground cursed now because of Adam? And, who is this seed of the woman that will crush the snake?
