Ashley's daughter's diagnosis came from her being part of the ENDIA study (Environmental Determinants of Islet Autoimmunity study), investigating 1400 women and their babies from early pregnancy to three years of age to understand how the environment promotes the development of type 1 diabetes.
Ashley shares how this diagnosis shocked her and how they have been dealing with the diagnosis and subsequent transition to gluten free life for her since.
