I Am Wonderful
“I praise you, because I am wonderfully made; wonderful are your works! My very self you know.” Psalm 139:14 (NAB)
Some of us struggle with our self identities, self confidence, and self esteem. We may fear that we are not good enough, smart enough, or pretty enough. We may fear that no one will really love us or even like us.
The Psalmist wants us to put a permanent stop to this negative spiral. We are wonderful, every one of us. God made us God’s self, and knows everything about us. God says about us as God says about all God’s creation, that we are exceptionally good. We are wonderful.
Now for those who are really struggling, I want you to personalize these words. Repeat:
I am wonderful.
I am wonderful.
I am wonderful!
Repeat this words as often as you need to. Make a list of all the ways you are wonderful and repeat them as well.
