John Lynch 1-on-1: GM delivers Trent Williams, Mac Jones updates from 2026 NFL Scouting Combine

San Francisco 49ers president of football operations/general manager John Lynch spoke with media Tuesday in Indianapolis at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine. From the podium, he delivered a number of offseason updates within the 49ers organization. Then, in an exclusive sit-down interview with "49ers Talk" co-host, Jennifer Lee Chan, Lynch touched upon those topics at greater length, from contract negotiations with star left tackle Trent Williams, the development of the 49ers' 2025 rookie class, the camaraderie Mac and Brock have built in the QB room, and how the front office intends to bolster the defensive line.
