49ers vs. Broncos Reaction: Brock Purdy, CMC & Deebo Lead San Francisco to 24-14 Win
49ers Access: San Francisco 49ers Podcast
The San Francisco 49ers are 4-0!
The 49ers defeated the Denver Broncos 24-14 in a hard-fought Week 4 matchup at Levi's Stadium, and we break down EVERYTHING from San Francisco's latest win.
Brock Purdy threw two second-half touchdown passes, Christian McCaffrey scored a touchdown, Deebo Samuel found the end zone, and George Kittle delivered the game-sealing 56-yard touchdown as the 49ers pulled away in the second half.
But this game was far from perfect.
The 49ers' offense was stuck in the mud for much of the first half, struggled badly in short-yardage situations, and could not find much vertical success against Denver's defense. San Francisco even turned the ball over on downs at the Denver 35-yard line and had a field goal blocked before halftime.
So what changed?
We break down how Brock Purdy and the 49ers offense finally found their rhythm, Christian McCaffrey's impact, Deebo Samuel's touchdown, George Kittle's massive game-sealing play, and the biggest adjustments Kyle Shanahan made.
We also dive into the 49ers defense and how Fred Warner, Dre Greenlaw, Upton Stout, Siran Neal, and the rest of the defense helped San Francisco survive Denver's rushing attack.
