About this episode

On Wednesday the 7th of August 1963, a travelling post office train set off from Glasgow in Scotland and made its way down to London Euston station. The mail was sorted en route and this train contained a high value package coach with a significant amount of money on board that needed to be sorted. The train would never make it to London as not far from its destination one of the biggest robberies in UK history took place.
