Cowboys relax and have fun in slack moments between roundups. Sometimes fun is joshin’ folks, telling lies and being believed, or telling the truth and being pegged a worthless liar. Sometimes fun is bragging about how your guy can outride some other outfit’s best horseman (and how about a little bet on it?), then holding a contest to see who really is the best. And, of course, if an unattached lady happens by, slack time is suddenly not so slack.
